If you are referring to the images such as surfing.bmp, martini.bmp,
hi_pig_sm.bmp, yes, I see those are 120x160, but they don't fill the main
LCD.  There are (at least on my phone) clearly unfilled bands of space along
the left and right sides of those images.

A 128x160 image created in Photoshop and transferred to my VX6100 doesn't
look compressed to me.

I've attached a 25K 132x148 image that fills the screen nicely, allowing for
the menus at the top and bottom of the screen.
