Subject: Re: LG VX6100

a 128x160 pic fills the screen on the vx6100, but shows up slightly 'corrupted' (not clear), because it is being compressed sideways.
import original background pics from your vx6100 and you will see that their size are all 120x160.
am i wrong?

VX6100's screen is 120x160. However, bitpim will not let me import that
size: 128x160 is the closest i seem to able to do.

The relevant piece of code looks like this:

"wallpaper", {'width': 128, 'height': 148, 'format': "JPEG"}))
"pictureid", {'width': 128, 'height': 148, 'format': "JPEG"}))
"fullscreen", {'width': 128, 'height': 160, 'format': "JPEG"}))

Most resources, and my testing indicate that 128x160 is correct. I
haven't tested inserting 128x160 size image since the image sizing code
was changed, but previous to that, a 128x160 image from Photoshop
perfectly filled the screen on my LG VX6100.
