With 0.7.29 running on XP-SP2, I can reproduce the problem by: Phonebook Tab, 
File, Print, Page Setup->OK, Print Preview.

One work-around is to go into Page Setup, make your changes, click OK, Close, 
Exit BitPim, then restart BitPim.  Your Page Setup changes are still there, and 
you can now do Preview/Print.
