Hi Roger; Thank you for pointing me to the correct thread. I guess my Carrier, Bell Mobility (Canada), still likes 11 digits. I am on a North America long distance plan. I pretty much dial for 11 digits for everything. I have found a workaround by accident. Some of my Outlook numbers had extensions in the field "x####" after them ... these numbers did not get the leading one stripped. When I want to keep the leading "1" I enter the number in the following format "1-###-###-####-0" The trailing 0 gets ignored when dialing but stops BitPim from stripping the leading 1. A little painful ... but it works.
