Ya know that just might be the problem. I didn't get an exception or error
message however I did have the tech transfer the numbers that were in my old
phone. DO I need to just delete the numbers on the phone? Of course it
doesn't explain why the problem started after I upgraded to the most recent
version of bit-Pim unless it has to do with my increasing the number of
entries?

occurred.

I seen people ask this enough that I think I can offer an answer. The
problem is right in the exception:

IntegrityCheckFailed: LG-VX6100: Data in phonebook is inconsistent.
There are multiple entries with the same serial number. See the log.

This means that your phone entries have duplicate serial numbers, a
condition I understand to be caused by the cell techs transerfering your
numbers from an old phone (depending on the software they use). One fix
would be to delete all your numbers and start over, but you may find a
more elegant solution by searching the list archives.

I can tell you my 6100 works great with bitpim, but I didn't have them
transfer my numbers.
