Subject: Re: An unexpected exception has occurred.

I seen people ask this enough that I think I can offer an answer. The problem is right in the exception:

IntegrityCheckFailed: LG-VX6100: Data in phonebook is inconsistent. There are multiple entries with the same serial number. See the log.

This means that your phone entries have duplicate serial numbers, a condition I understand to be caused by the cell techs transerfering your numbers from an old phone (depending on the software they use). One fix would be to delete all your numbers and start over, but you may find a more elegant solution by searching the list archives.

I can tell you my 6100 works great with bitpim, but I didn't have them transfer my numbers.

I have a LG 6100 phone.
USB Data Cable purchased from CellPhoneMall.
OP System: Windows XP Home edition.
Bitpim Version 0.7.27 - Official

I receive the following message when I download data from the phone,
When I search for the file “gui.pyo” on my computer is not found.

I can see the pictures from the phone but not the phone book, while
downloading I see the names in the book at the bottom of the page.
Thanks for your help.
