I have a similar problem with my startup script wich starts apache 1.3 ...

after several reboots it looks like this issue is a timing problem.
when adding a 'sleep 10' to the startup skript appweb starts up as expected. Strange: when I redirect the log file to the root directory "/error.log" the sleep command is not necessary....
