spca5xx webcam support: msg#00294misc.nslu2.linux
Hello, I'm the owner of a webcam with the spca5xx chipset. I have little experience in modules and compilations, but as far as I understand it, existing Linux modules have to be recompiled on the OpenSlug system? Linux drivers for the spca5xx chipset (supporting >100 webcams) exist at http://mxhaard.free.fr/download.html - there are .h files in the archive that have to be built to get the driver working (right?). Could somebody please explain what to do with these files? I'm stuck right now. :( Perhaps it's quite easy and someone with OpenSlug running could compile the files? Greetings, Sebastian [ Moderator Note: All static information is slowly moving to the Wiki at http://www.nslu2-linux.org ] |
