Query on OpenSlug beta issues

I don't wish to jog the elbows of those working on the OpenSlug beta,
but I'm curious what the "Intel NPE binary license issue" mentioned on
the OpenSlug status page is, and if there's anything the rest of us
can do to be of help on that or the other Beta issues...
