I can confirm that a SlugOS/BE (OpenSlug) image built from current
nslu2-linux OE monotone head boots and seems to have working ethernet (I
transferred the 40MB 2.6.18.tar.bz2 tarball across ssh/scp to /dev/null
on the slug as a test).

SlugOS/LE doesn't load the microcode (bound to be an endian issue).
When the microcode image is byteswapped, it loads into NPE-A instead of
NPE-B for some reason. Christian: any idea why that would be? Is there
documentation of the microcode header format anywhere?

Neither gets the MAC address correct (bound to be an easy fix).

A great start! Thanks Michael-Luke and Christian!
