Looking at CONFIG_CHANGES, I have a few questions:

>"evdev, Ethernet MII, HW Random IXP4xx, I2C-Chardev now compiled as
modules"
evdev can't be loaded as a module if we want the buzzer to work on
various devices at boot time. Dunno if the I2C-Chardev is used anytime
during boot.
I'm not sure if evdev can be loaded during boot, but in that case, the
initscripts should be changed too.

>RS5C372 and M48T86 RTC drivers removed
Why remove RS5C372? AFAIK, it's used by DS101 and N2100, possibly more
devices too. Dunno about the M48T86.

>Netwinder FPE emulation replaced with FastFPE
Are you sure that's a good enough replacement? Remember that the slugs
are all-round devices, which unfortunately costs a bit of performance.

Support added for pcf8574 i2c device (module)
SquashFS patch added but support not built
All other suggestions to reduce space welcome :)

Modularize SCSI/IDE/USB. All devices boot from flash and load the
necessary drivers to support their hardware before booting from an
internal/external disk.
