Subject: Re: scsi-idle patch

Hello
About a year ago I have ported scsi-idle package to OE environment
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/nslu2-linux/message/8282 witch
suitable for 2.6.* kernel patch.
I wonder what is problem with it that it cannot be included in Slugos
3.10 witch kernel 2.6.17 and i have checked that patch was appiled
without any problems.
Just I have compiled ixp4xx-kernel-2.6.17 with 40-scsi-idle.patch.
Please tell me more about this required kernel change.
For me 40-scsi-idle.patch is working also in 2.6.17 kernel.

Regards,
Demsey
