libcaca has nothing to do with SDL (or you are using SDL with the caca
output, which is *very* old, and unsupported)

it shows (maybe) a caca application trying to use ALSA. libcaca has
absolutely no sound support, so it seems you're talking about everything
but caca.
What is the piece of software you are trying to run ?
