You can use the view source tab (where the edit button usually is in a wiki you are logged in to) to see what they have written. I would suggest looking through some of Wikipedia's basic editing guides to get an idea what you are looking at, but on the wiki books front page some things I think you might like pointed out are: __NOTOC__ this tells the wiki you do not want to use a table of contents like the blue boxes Wikipedia uses. {{Main Page introduction}} with the curly braces around this it tells the wiki to transclude, or pull in the content, of the page whose title is between the braces I doubt that you have any sister projects yet, so you shouldn't worry about that section. I don't know if you have figured out how to change your icon, but that is a setting in the LocalSettings.php file.
