This is from a user who found out about SAGE from
watching a colloquium talk I gave on TV:

Hi Professor,
I'm trying out SAGE today. I'm an undergrad CS student at UW and was
having trouble using MATLAB from home, some X problem. I watched your
colloquium talk on SAGE on UWTV a bit ago and was very impressed so I
thought I'd try it out. It turns out I will never be going back to
MATLAB; you've created an absolutely wonderful alternative to these
commercial products.
I'm running your linux 32bit binaries, "SAGE Version 2.4, Release
Date: 2007-03-25" on xubuntu kernel 2.6.17-10-generic. Only 1
problem thus far:
brharris@harris-laptop:~/Desktop/sage-2.4-i686-Linux$ ./sage example.sage
/bin/sh: Can't open sage-python
I'm not bothering to investigate as everything I need for my STAT391
class works :)
