Help on 3D modelling: msg#00232mathematics.abaqus.user
Dear All, Having constructed my 2D axisymmetric model of a steel rod embedded in concrete, i have now constructed a full 3D model. But since my model comprises of 4 different parts, the nodes of one part is not coincident with the other part at location where they are in contact. How can i mesh the model so that the element nodes are coincident at the interface where they are in conatct with? I have spent a couple of hours to upload the picture of my model along with some description of how i have modelled it. Please go to the following website For the 2D model and the schematic of my 2D model http://www.geocities.com/ravindran_manoharan/anchor.html For the 3D model http://www.geocities.com/ravindran_manoharan/3D.html Thanking you in advance for your time and kind understanding. best regards, Ravi ------------------------ Yahoo!
