Thermal conductivity

hello all,

I am trying to do a 2D steady state heat transfer problem. I have 2
questions.

1) can specify thermal conductivity of a amterial as a function of
spatial variable i.e. x & y coordinates?

2) If i know the thermal conductivity explicitily at each node, can i
specify that known value at every node?
