Slave surface Warning

Dear All,
   When I tried to run the simulation of contact
between baseplate and bolt I got warning message which
says

" A slave surface defenition has been defined on a
face element that contains no mid face node.This lead
to convergence difficulties.The element type will be
converted and a midface node generated
automatically.The element number will be
unchanged.This message is repeated if subsequent
element of this surface are converted".

Any body has any idea of whats happening.
Any help would be highly appreciated
