Subject: Re: model the underground water surface

Dear Halim

Hi

Thanks a lot!!!!

I have looked into the ABAQUS/Standard,and it is writed " Drainage-
only flow type labels QnD and QD are used on the data lines of the
*FLOW and *SFLOW options, respectively, to indicate that normal pore
fluid flow occurs """"only from the interior to the exterior region
of the model.""""

So if the outward direction of surface is rightly defined from ground
to ground water surface,I think
*sflow
watersurface,QD,ks(Defining drainage-only flow)
can really do this. Is that right?

Best regards
Xuhan
