New user in abaqus CAE

To whom it may concern,
I am a graduate student in Material Science in Georgia tech. As I am 
a new user using abaqus CAE 6.4 Acadamic version, I am trying to 
simulated an example problem to get myself familiarize with CAE gui. 
However, I could not find a few commands such as *FRICTION", 
*FRACTURE CRITERION" and "MPC" in the CAE's GUI. Is there any ways to 
access these command in GUI or do we need to adds these command in 
the input file manually?
