Hello Partha, You cant apply voltage as load, instead you can apply as Boundary condition. for example to apply 10 V use *Boundary nset, 9, 9, 10 with reference to the earlier discussion you can apply either voltage as a BC or charge as load.both will give you the same result. try with "zero" voltage BC.there wont be any secondary effect even if you apply any mechanical load ove the patches. ok let me clear r u going to model a bimorph or multilayer bender or PZT stack actuator. i would suggest you to apply equivalent voltage to simulate the required deflection and blockforce. ------------------------ Yahoo!
