Noise reduction

I am a bit confused with what's happening with my model. I have defined 
different sections long a beam. The problem is when I vary one section (e.g., 
only thickness), no matter which section, with only 0.01-0.05 mm, I get a kind 
of noise in plotting the maximum displacement of the beam vs thickness of the 
my section. I tried to reduce the field of the noise by reducing the increment 
size (NLG job), but it's the same. The function I am expected to be smoother.
 
Does anyone have any idea about this?
