Currently, the report of a single person can make the confidence value of a given message (body part) to be greater than 6 (which is the current value of min_cf as published by the razor servers). For this to happen the person reporting it to razor needs to have enough trust for the razor system. Similarly, the revoke of a single trusted person can make a given message (i.e. body part) to be "removed" from razor database. > What are the rules? How does this work? Or - is this all a secret? The details are a secret, but apparently the following general rules apply: * You gain trust by reporting messages which other people have reported as well. The more spam you report which is also reported by other people, the more trust you gain. * You may lose trust if you revoke messages which a lot of other people reported. * You may also make people to lose their trust if you revoke messages that they reported and you have a lot of trust. * Every message which is reported is assigned a confidence value. This value depends on the trust of the people who reported it and the trust of the people who revoked it (if any). ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf |
