check skipped ?

This may have been answered before, but I'm getting the following messages
from time to time in my maillog.

I'm running razor-agents-2.22 on rh 7.3, with spamassasin 2.44.

Feb 26 16:58:01 mail spamd[472]: razor2 check skipped: Bad file descriptor
could not connect to any servers
Feb 26 17:49:34 mail spamd[1315]: razor2 check skipped: Bad file descriptor
Died at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1/Mail/SpamAssassin/Dns.pm line 408.
