Forcing new IMAP mail detection in Mailboxes list?: msg#00000

Subject: Forcing new IMAP mail detection in Mailboxes list?
When viewing the Mailboxes list, I'd like to be able to press a key
and cause mutt-ng to query my IMAP server and update the new message
count, in case new email has arrived since the last time I checked.

The imap-fetch-mail function doesn't work in browser mode. Furthermore,
when I do the following, it still doesn't cause the new message count to
be updated:

  macro browser g "q<imap-fetch-mail><change-folder>?^I"

All that happens when I press "g" is for the folder to redisplay with the
same count of new messages that it had before, even if new emails have
arrived.

How can I get the new message count to be updated on demand when I'm in the
Mailboxes list?

Thanks in advance.
