limiting index by author

Hi,
I am using muttng now for quite some time. Every once in a while I am
using the limit function to get messages from a particular author. Until
now I did the following: 

1. selected the message
2. opened it in the pager
3. selected the author with the mouse
4. exiting the message
5. typing l and '~f' followed by pasting the author with the mouse

Now as this behavior is rather awkward I was wondering if it 
is possible to do something like: 

1. select the message in the index 
2. typing just any keystroke that would automatically extract the senders
email address and use this address for limiting using the pattern '~f'

Is there a way to get this behavior via some bind function?
I looked in the manual, but I did not find an appropriate section. If I
missed something, just give me a pointer to some documentation and I will
happily be silent again.
