Just saw that I have an unavailable version of mutt-ng here :-)

Hmm, I have lxtec in my sources.lst from times when there was no mutt-ng
in experimental. That has version 0.0+20050911-1 and I'm trying that
now.

I'm not using imap alone. I have some local Maildirs in $HOME/.Mail (one
of them being my inbox) and I just want to read the Mails from the imap
server at work.

Ok, I as I said I have 20050911 now and still, after I touched one of
the imap-boxes mutt-ng always does "something" that triggers internet
dialin when I change to a _local_ box (or between local boxes).
