$net_inc: msg#00080mail.mutt.mutt-ng.user
Hi, as some may have noticed, upstream mutt added the $net_inc variable which adds progress for fetching IMAP messages. I'd like to have it removed again because the POP and NNTP code honors $read_inc for this and displays line counters and there's no other way than that (as I read the code). Thus, while it looks nice to have KByte counters for IMAP, it's bad as it is inconsistent with the other protocols right now. The other way is possible (adding line counters for IMAP messages). One more problem: we can only show what line we're on currently but not how many there are in total... ;-( Opinions? bye, Rocco -- :wq! |
