Maybe it's too late but how do you build (r489 vs. r492)? Can you do a 
'make clean' please?

The problem _was_ a typo in curs_lib.c that is fixed in r490. Can you 
please do: 'grep USER_ curs_lib.c' in the source directory? If that 
produces output, just delete the file and do 'svn up'.
