Stop muttng from reading ~/Maildir on its own: msg#00033mail.mutt.mutt-ng.user
Hello all, I'm sorry if this has been discussed again or if it is in the manual, but I couldn't find anything. I recently upgraded mutt-ng to the newest version available from the FreeBSD ports. I have a special setup with local and remote (== NFS) Maildirs which occasionally get sync'ed by unison, but I usually use the Maildir under /home_remote/Maildir NOT the one in ~/Maildir. Therefore I reset folder and mbox to /home_remote/Maildir and do 'unmailboxes *' and readd all the mailboxes as '+, +foo, +bar' etc. This has worked without problem for mutt and the older mutt-ng version. Now however, it looks like mutt-ng always blindly reads the folder structure from $HOME/Maildir and adds that to the mailboxes (I can see all those folders in the sidebar now, and the show up when cycling through the mailbox list via space). This is extremely annyoing. Issueing a 'unmailboxes *' manually does nothing to change this. What's up with that? Ulrich Spoerlein -- PGP Key ID: F0DB9F44 Encrypted mail welcome!
