Courier mailserver + maildrop

Hi!

I installed the Courier mailserver. Everthing is very good, i choosed 
the mysql (pgsql) authentication.
But:
If I would like send an email to a user (for example user@xxxxxxxxxxxx), 
it doesn't arrive, because of user is unknown.
I watched the mysql log and the query is like this:
select id, uid, gid, home..... from passwd where id='user'

so, not the full emailaddress (user@xxxxxxxxxxx), but only the username 
without the domain (user).
This is a virtual user.

What did I forget? What can I do?
