The support we have for notify is for the old draft version. It works but isn't
the same as what's in the current draft. The only type of notification you can
send is another email message.

IMO the current draft has some open issues that need to be resolved before it
can be standardized. (Just my opinion, others may disagree.) In any case, I
don't anticipate implementing the newer drafts until the issues are resolved.
