Case 65701298 opened to track imsconnutil -k not working
The last question about not all connections being notified was my
fault. One of my connections was not idling in the inbox. So, my bad.
With both connections idling in the inbox both were notified.

Open a case. Notifications should go to all instances and affect

Subject: [Info-iMS] imsconnutil -k -u not working and some imap
idle questions.

I'm working with imsconnutil to be able to boot users out of IMAP.
But, I can't seem to get it to work.
I've successfully enabled IMAP IDLE and verified it's working:
[amail011:...sbin] root[205]# telnet ams011.mac.com 143 Trying
10.150.81.139...
Connected to ams011.

I've also logged in via telnet and idled and got a new message
notification so,
I'm pretty sure it's set up properly yet, imsconnutil -k -u fails
to disconnect
me. It says it's doing it:
[amail011:...sbin] root[202]# ./imsconnutil -k -u cvervais
disconnecting cvervais
And I verified it knows I'm logged in:
[amail011:...sbin] root[211]# ./imsconnutil -c -s imap -u cvervais
IMAP UID TIME AUTH

I also noticed that while I had two sessions idling, only one of
them got the
new message notification. The connections were coming from
different IPs which I
think might be relevant. Is IDLE setup to only notify one
connection or should
it be notifying all?
Or, should I open a case for this?
