sendmail + dbmail in Debian Linux: msg#00203mail.imap.dbmail
Hi! I am newbie on dbmail, after few hours test i have to give up and ask some experts here about dbmail and sendmail... i did as the manual said (found one on internet), used dbmail.m4 and added FEATURE(mailertable, `hash -o /etc/mail/mailertable') MAILER(dbmail)dnl to sendmail.mc, rebuilded sendmail.cf, i can see dbmail macro in sendmail.cf bottom also edited mailertable and make hash etc.. then remove the the host from local-host-names restart the sendmail... By sent test mails I kept get error message: reject=550 5.7.1 <test@xxxxxxxxxx>... Relaying denied. Proper authentication required. Coz that foobar.com isnt in local-host-names. (if it is in there, then i got "User Known" as error message.) Any ideas? Thanks! wuming@xxxxxxxx <mail created 1:48 26/02>
