  Sure enough, we do have $mydomain in $mydestination  :).
Iirc, which is obviously not always the case, you can put
the domain in relay_domains too, with basically the same
effect (ie. mail will be accepted and hit dbmail: transport).
There may be implications with local_recipients_map for the
two methods (eg. it checks the recipients map for mydestination
domains, not for relay_domains).  Indeed, looking at our setup,
that seems to be the case (as we have an email->pager gateway
in relay_domains that does not use local_recipients_map).
