Great! Although this is different enough from other programs that it is
worth noting this in some detail in the online documents. I don't
usually think of the text content of a file as being "mime content", and
I actually know enough to know that it IS. Most users will be utterly
clueless about this and give up before figuring it out on their own.

A better solution still is to just add a direct command for saving the
more or less standard text contents of the main message in an ordinary
file, just like all the other mail clients in the universe have. Again,
the hard part of the programming is already done -- it is just a matter
of adding a suitable call to a suitable switch, just like permitting
file/path entry everywhere is just a matter of using existing code
consistently everywhere.
