I had the same problems with a Creative Vista Plus, which is based on  
the same chipset as the Trust WB-1400T. After two days and after  
seeing that the camera worked perfectly on Windows XP (I tried on an  
old pc), I returned it as it was useless for me.
I will keep using my Sony camcorder as a webcam until I buy a camera- 
equipped new Mac...

I hope you have more luck than I did!
