Macam on intel machines

Hi,

I'm getting a fair quality picture with a Trust WB-1400T webcam
through the macam application. But if I try to use the webcam with
aMSN or Mercury, for instance, I get horrendous quality pictures. The
pictures are off-colour and there are lines running through the
picture too.

I'm on an Intel mac mini, which, from reading some comments, might
make a difference?
