thx, i saw that, i was not clear on where to put the patch source. i 
gather from what you said i guessed right, just replace existing source.

my plan to load directly came a cropper on clos.lisp, which crashes 
Corman. I'll try the official build procedure and see if I get the same 
issues as you.

i was able to load structures.lisp, but it needs the corresponding new 
clos.lisp (the doc emphasizes that, I confirmed it <g>).
