Well, `everything' is a little strong, isn't it? At least it depends on
what you regard as a typical user.

It is surely up to the developers to decide what they need. But as a
user (not a developer), I want my own branches outside of the central
repository. So SBCL's new (inofficial) tla archive sounds more
interesting to me than any central subversion repository would.
