Pierre would know best of course, but I would suspect that the PPC
port is more like the Sparc port featurewise except that it's probably
less stable at this time. I expect that will improve, and probably
surpass Sparc in time.

This port probably still uses the Cheney stop-and-copy collector, but
I have an interest in porting gencgc to PPC. However, that's already
been attempted on sbcl without success thus far, so it seems a
difficult task.
