Snapshots for September

Well, it's nearing the beginning of a new month and therefore time for
some snapshots.  And it's a good time for that too, since we have
dynamic-extent for x86[1], and generational gc for sparc.  (It's been a
good month for CMUCL!)

So I propose that the snapshots be made on Tue, Sept 2, so no changes
should be checked in on that day.  I'll make 2 Solaris builds (old gc,
and generational gc).  I can also make a Linux build, on RH 7.1, if no
one beats me too it.

Any objections?

[1] Unfortunately, I haven't made any progress on dynamic-extent for
sparc.  Simple cases work, but complicated ones in the compiler appear
not to work, but I can't find even a single known complicated case to
examine.
