load-time bugs using gengc-genesis.lisp: msg#00270lisp.cmucl.devel
hello; I was trying to compile cmucl, today, using a current anoncvs checkout, on an i386 box, with cmucl "release-18e-branch + minimal debian patches" When I tried to load compilier/generic/gengc-genesis.lisp, I saw the following output: -- Reader error at 15273 on #<Stream for file "/usr/local/src/lang/lisp/cmucl/upcvs/src/compiler/generic/gengc-genesis.lisp">: Symbol "LARGE-OBJECT-CUTOFF" not found in the X86 package. -- After grep'ing the sources, it came up that there's a parameter 'large-object-cutoff' defined and exported in compiler/mips/parms.lisp; I only hope this fact is useful, as I don't know what to do about it, myself. Thank you -- Sean Champ |
