We are moving towards a new release of CL-HTTP with measured pace.
There are some new features and improvements available in the current
development version which may be useful to the wider community,
including new markup generation, SSL for selected platforms, new
documentation facilities, and updated ports.
The release notes are available here: http://www.cl-http.org:8000/cl-
http/release-notes.text
A build of CL-HTTP 70.214 s84 devo for all ports is now available
at: http://www.cl-http.org:8001/cl-http/dist/devo/
This version should work robustly on Lispworks, MCL, SCL, and ACL.
Please report any bugs to the appropriate bug lists.
Feel free to send in your patches, new documentation, and
contributions for inclusion in the upcoming prerelease.
We are especially interested in testing SSL under Lispworks and
developing some documentation for configuring SSL services. The
directory http:examples;ssl; contains some SSL configuration examples
that should work under LispWorks and SCL.
Note also that Karsten Poeck has developed a framework for porting CL-
HTTP to new Common Lisp implementations, which includes several
examples (Corman, Clisp, ECLS). We would very much like to see a port
to OpenMCL happen. See: http:contrib;kpoeck;port-template;
If you have ideas (and implementations) for cool Web apps to run on
http://www.cl-http.org:8001/, please let us know.
