vrpm error: msg#00106

linux.vserver

Subject: vrpm error

I can't remember if I saw it on this list or it happened to me before and
I never got around to sorting it out.

When I try to use vrpm

vrpm nicn -- -Uvh awstats-6.1-1.1.fc1.dag.noarch.rpm

I get these lines.

Updating server nicn
error: cannot open Packages index using db3 - Permission denied (13)
error: cannot open Packages database in /vservers/nicn/var/lib/rpm
warning: awstats-6.1-1.1.fc1.dag.noarch.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key
ID 6b8d79e6
error: cannot open Packages database in /vservers/nicn/var/lib/rpm

Kernel 2.4.26-vs1.26 and the reference vserver built using the Fedora
Core 1 instructions and the new ones built using newvserver
(util-vserver packages) and unification.

Looked on the system for the underscore (*__*) files in the vservers'
/var/lib/rpm directory but didn't find them.

Hey I even searched the web site and didn't find this error. It looks to
be an rpm error but not sure why.

Ideas?
