Re: Missing Shutdown and Reboot on Kubuntu. Installed from ubuntu.: msg#00149

Subject: Re: Missing Shutdown and Reboot on Kubuntu. Installed from ubuntu.
This is a multi-part message in MIME format.
Does anyone else have any ideas?    I'm running out of idea's.  Seems it might be related to permissions.  If I login as root I get the Shutdown and Restart.

Thanks,
Craig

I also tried editing the AllowShutdown to All.  This did not work either.

Thanks, but I tried that.

I'm really looking for something not so obvious. I have been following
several threads on this issue. I do appreciate the help.

I seem to be the only one who can't get his shutdown/reboot in kde. (I
had gnome - ubuntu installed first).

Does anyone know where the config file is for kdm that tells kdm which
options to show?

/etc/kde3/kdm/kdmrc
