Problems
If the kernel was compiled using an other version of gcc, you will get
an error message complaining
FATAL: Error inserting spca5xx (spca5xx.ko): Invalid module format
Try installing the kernel you built in Step 1. (And this is the one
place even linux needs a reboot)
If this does not help or you get other errors, get the last log
entries typing

Forse non c'entra, e non conosco l'inizio, hai installato gli headers
del kernel, corrispondenti alla tua versione?

infatti hai ragione.. avevo sbagliato quelli.. ora ho risolto QUEL
problema ;) mi manca ancora un po' alla soluzione di tutto il resto...
