Question about changing Console Size on Server

Hi, I am trying to figure out how I would set the console size the
CTRL-ALT-F1->F6 terminals on the server? As they are really out of
wack in size. where the user name and password take up most of the
screen. And I am not sure where I would go about fixing that. Also, is
it possible to use the nvidia drivers on the clients? I haven't been
able to find that anywhere, so any help would be great.
