Installatie van UBUNTU of Kubuntu: msg#00150

Subject:	Installatie van UBUNTU of Kubuntu

Hallo

Ik probeer UBUNTU 6.06, 6.10 of KUBUNTU 6.10 te installeren op een oude 
COMPAQ-pc Deskpro en ik krijg bij de drie versies als melding:

"Unable to locate RSDP"
waarna de pc vastloopt.

Ik heb er wel een oude LINUX-versie van COREL (1998) (KDE-KDM) kunnen op 
installeren en die werkt.
Ook de daarbij geïnstalleerde Netscape en Wordperfect 8 werken.

Kan ik van uit die LINUX-versie  UBUNTU of KUBUNTU  installeren.
