Hi,
You will have noticed that the documentation in the ubuntu-docs package
is open for translation along with the rest of Edgy. Here are some
guidelines about how to translate:
1. Everything from the last release still applies, PLEASE try and be
careful not to break things, it takes a long time to fix all the errors
when things are not correctly copied from the English to the
translation. See my instructions here:
https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-translators/2006-April/000444.html
2. One change - you will often see some entities in the strings, for
example "&printing;". You should NOT CHANGE THESE. Many of these can be
localised in the menu-editing.pot template.
Thanks,
Matt
